We no longer sail public 'off the beach' Sundowner Cruises due to the relatively low numbers of people wanting to enjoy an evening cruise on Coniston Water. It can be a magical time, as often as not the ripples on the lake have calmed down leaving a mirror-surface upon which we glide.
We do however run such cruises for private charter groups. We leave Coniston Boatlandings at 8.00pm (7 pm in the 'shoulder' months), for a one hour cruise returning in the gloaming.
You are welcome to bring your own wine and soft drinks with you - we used to provide wine on this cruise but the new alcohol licensing law seems to think we were encouraging binge drinking!
