Coniston Launch runs an hourly ferry and cruise service around the northern half of Coniston Water, calling at Coniston Boatlandings, Waterhead Hotel, Torver and Brantwood. If you want to view our route just have a look at the map of the lake.

We no longer call at Monk Coniston. For those many people who used to enjoy travelling from the head of the lake at Monk Coniston to Torver, Brantwood or elsewhere we suggest that you use the Waterhead Hotel jetty instead - the hotel people are very friendly - there is adequate car parking plus the added bonus of being able to enjoy some refreshment there.

We cater for walkers, those visiting Brantwood, or those who prefer just a gentle cruise on the lake.You can buy a return ticket and either come with us on a 45 minute cruise or stop off at any one of the four jetties (or all of them if you like!) and catch us when we return an hour later.

Of course you can buy a single ticket if you want to walk .There are a number of pleasant walks that can be combined with a boat trip to take you back to your base.
